Dear friends!

Children's Theatre Center of the city of Petrozavodsk in support of the "Russian World" invites young people from different countries to participate in the International Youth Festival-Contest of the artistic word "verb" to be held from 1 to 8 October 2011 in the cities of northwestern Russia: St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk and Pushkin.

The festival aims - improving the skills of speaking the Russian language of young people studying Russian language in a friendly creative atmosphere of Russian-speaking environment through the art of words.
To participate in the competition necessary to prepare individual performance with a fragment or a product of A. Pushkin's no longer than 5 minutes. As part of the festival-contest all the contestants take part in exercises and training on the culture of Russian speech in small groups or individually, in master classes on ballroom culture under the guidance of highly qualified professionals. All participants receive diplomas, gifts, CDs with methodical recommendations on the culture of speech and the film of the festival days. The best readers are awarded with diplomas of winners and prizes. The culmination of the festival will be the holding of the Russian Ball (reconstruction of the ball 19 th century).
The festival includes an extensive and varied sightseeing program in Petrozavodsk, Kizhi Island with a visit to St. Petersburg and Pushkin (visiting the museum-apartment of Alexander Pushkin in the Sink, the Russian Museum, the Great Catherine Palace and Tsarskoe Selo Lyceum).

The organizing committee provides for participants Free: 

- transfer bus St Petersburg - Petrozavodsk - St. Petersburg;
- sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk, Kizhi Island and visit the Karelian Museum RK;
- organizing and conducting training on the culture of speech and master classes in ballroom culture;
- carrying Russian Ball;
- diplomas, gifts, prizes.

All participants of the festival get to St. Petersburg alone. Everyone pays the visa and medical insurance. In St. Petersburg, October 1, 2011 participants met the representative of the Organizing Committee at 11 am at the main entrance of the hotel "Oktyabrskaya" (Metro Station Area Rebellion, Ligovsky Avenue, Building 10 - at the intersection of Nevsky and Ligovsky prospects).
